Because you did it for me Seriously, what do you think of it? I wrote what i thought on my website - it looks really gritty and dark but doesn't really fit the Street Fighter mould.
I'm surprised the first live action movie didn't kill off the chances of another Street Fighter film. This one should do the trick though. Skinny bird off Smallville playing Chun-Li?!? Hmmm.
It looks entertaining some what I guess, but usually femimine hero movies like this don't go over so well... But who knows, could be like the Tomb Raider movies...
I expect it to have a nude scene for no reason at all. Because that's just what greedy producers will do to Chun-Li. If that happens then it's a hopeless movie
The trailer looks very cliche too. I'm not watching it unless everyone says that it's good.

I agree. Producers nowadays will do anything to attract an audience. That means exposing some cute girl that should be FULLY CLOTHED, as Eye candy for stupid men who can't JUST watch television.
But forget it, I won't be seeing it anyways. Also, I'd say Franchise killer.
Would it really of been so hard to get a full chinese lead? Nothing against Kristen Kreuk, but Ziyi Zhang http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/contributor/1800424122 (or a handfull of other talented Chinese actresses) would of been better.
A better question; why is capcom allowing hollywood to make another live action sf2 movie? Didn't they learn their lesson the first time? Really, a Japanese (or Chinese, or Korean) made sf2 moive would of been better for this crap.
What's worse is that someone (I don't member who.) made a Mortal Kombat movie once and it totally hit rock bottom. Violent Beat 'em games don't and I don't think ever will make good movies.
The only Japanese game turned movie I ever thought was good was Final Fantasy: Advent Children. But this is off topic so...
Yeah, I confess I've never even played Street fighter, but by the looks of the movie it's all fighting/ Pow pow/ You're dead/ K.O/ You win/ etc. stuff with a shoddily written romance script. What fun.
Yeah, I wasn't around when Street fighter was birthed. And, IMO, Tetris is kinda boring.
And I know FF: AC was made in Japan already, then dubbed to English.
I personally think that all movies based on a video game of some sort just suck. Uwe Boll got permission to make a dungeon siege film and I'm sure Chris Taylor is still kicking his rear for it.
