That does look quite nice. However you may need a more eye catching name than just "homemade games" and whats with the with the cross in the middle? Are all your games biblical or something? Its one of those random things you could just replace (or add more texture for it, its just like a white blob with the rest). But then again thats just my two cents.
I agree with the cross in the center. You might even be able to get away with a few gradient shades and such. And I defiantly agree with the name itself. It seriously under shoots the logo.
From a technical viewpoint I would suggest you simplify the wings and cross, but it's not vital if it's only to be used in games. The font, however, is fairly horrible and needs changing.
Just done a mockup of what I mean by simplification of the main visual. It uses stock images so unfortunately it would be illegal to use commercial, but should be fine for freeware.
i think the wings are fine. i dont think they need to be simplified. either both need to be as detailed as the other or as simple as the other. id love to see the cross as a detailed celtic cross. and that font needs to go.
Keep the cross dimensions as is, but make it an off-white or a darker version of the white you have.
Then add some sort of glow around the cross, a light effect.
Next, move those wings up to just below the horizontal of the cross intersection.
After that, throw your choice of the following: a silhouette of a stripper pole dancing round the cross, a witch tied to it near the bottom and being burned alive, Jeebus Cripes the hallmighty himself tied from the horizontal, or if you don't use the light effect make blood dripping from the cross.
You could also add a crown slanted at the top of the cross, make the cross lean slightly, give it a shadow, turn it so it's from a different angle view besides flat front, or put a purple cape on it.
The wings could be given a fiery, wet, smooth, or exaggerated look. They look good now though.
Homemade Games is fine, but not when mixed with this imagery. The Christian imagery can evoke all sorts of emotions, ranging from comfort to anger. "Homemade Games" on the other hand, evokes no emotion and reads like a fact, these are Homemade Games.
I'd suggest a new name. How about "Golden Bible Games"? or "White Cross Games" or "Guardian Angel Productions" or "God-Hand Creations" or "Heaven-at-Home Games" or "Heavenly Productions" or "Guardian Cross Games" or "Games of the Blinding Light" or "Bleeding Cross Productions" or "Burning Cross Games" or "Heavenly Games" or "Heaven Help Us Games" or "Hopeless Faith Games" or "Leap of Faith Games" or "Blind Faith Games" or "HeavenBound Gaming" or "Flying Cross Productions" etc. etc. etc.
Blood of the Ancient One, Seen only as Shadow, Faster than Lightning, Fierce as the Greatest Dragon, Nearly Invisible, Floating in a Dream, Entered through the Demon Door, Destroyer of Evil in a Realm with a Red Sky Scarred, Who could I be ?
What about "Homespun"? No "games" or anything. A lot of times adding "games" "productions" et cetera just makes you look n00bish. Not saying you are, just a thought. Sometimes it helps to just use a word, or to squash a few together. Making up new words is also good. By the way, you may not like the name "homemade games" in the long run. Once you've achieved a level of professional skill, having the quite unoriginal name could detract from the overall quality of your productions. If you'd like, I could help think of original names.
Also, are you intending to have the cross in there because the games are faith-related? If so, I think that's pretty spiffy.
