Both are loop based. Magix is ok, but I prefer Mixcraft. Mixcraft comes with ALOT of Premade loops which can be put together to make a nice music sequence. You can try it for 14 days as a trial, but I figured out that you can just download it again and again to get more free days. An old and washed up once-kid

It has no trial period, and you can make fully customizable music with/without loops and save it as multiple file extensions (.wav is best) It's really easy to use! I just got started today, and by myself I already figured out how to use it The only downside is that you cant save it as a raw file to work on it later. n/a
