that as soon as i speak about not having had a virus in forever

that i get a trojan. and its a nasty little bugger. i battled the shit out of it for like 5 hours.
deleting files and registries, killing processes, running spybots, hijack this, adaware, malwarebytes, multiple disc cleaners disk cleaners. it finally seems to have been vanquished but theres still a remnant of it in my msconfig startup apps. yet the registry it points to is gone as well as the files and none of my antiviruses can find it anymore.
im usually smarter than this but i didnt have my linux distribution handy for going to obscure sites about my recent psp hacking to learn more.
i need sleep ;___;

not quite as badass as the fleet of trojans my sister had once before long ago
completely took over her computer. it was almost alive 
i had to completely format her harddrive a few times and do a fresh windows install.
