I've posted this before, but the problem still has not been remedied. Production on Elf World has been pulled to a complete halt because of the god damned Fastloop object (which is supposed to be built into MMF2) has ceased to work! I get an error message saying that the Fastloop object isn't there. So, my engine doesn't work, because, hehe, it NEEDS the fastloop object. Damn it, help me out. Klik withdrawl.

The only way that's ever going to work is if someone decides to make an MMF2 version of the fastloop extension, which is *very* unlikely since, like you said, it's buit-in now.

You just need to open up your file in the older clickteam product, and remove all references to fastloops - I'd suggest you insert comments to remind you of what the events were that you removed. Then you can import it just fine, and put the fastloop events back after, using the inbuilt fastloop functions.

There's not going to be a shortcut - it's that or nothing.

didnt you already ask this question?

you have to use the fastloop extension kcfloop.mfx. the built in mmf loops DONT WORK with loops made using the old fastloop extension.

if youre mmf2 is completely up to date, build R248, and has all the extension packs installed, then it will work.

kcfloop.mfx resides in mmf2extpack2.exe

I think you're misinterpreting the idea of "built into mmf2". MMF2 has built in loops which are much better than the fastloop object. For old projects you need to have the kcfloop.mfx and then you simply change those events for mmf2 loop events.

Yeah, you have to redo all the loop codes manually. Since you keep calling it the "built in fastloop object" I have a feeling you're mixing two things. To clear up all confusion: difference between built-in loops and fastloop object-> http://img133.imageshack.us/img133/4595/fastloop.png
