EMBARASSING GAMES COMPETITION:
Everyone has to post one of the earliest games of theirs they can find Might be interesting since there'd be no new coding involved :3

Here's my first completed game: http://create-games.com/download.asp?id=7266
I'll see if I can find a good classic from KNP or very early TGF. Before that one I think all of my gam's were just title screens and then a level with a poorly-drawn character and maybe a baddie or two. Ah, simpler times. The joy of making a pixelly penguin crawl across a screen without worrying too much about quality or who would play it.

sadly it looks like I reformatted my 486 a few years ago. I'm going to dig through my expansive collection of floppy disks to see if I ever made backups. I made a ton of crap in KNP, but it may all be dead, or it may all be in new mexico

I found tons of old TGF games that embarrass me but they're all well beyond the level of what I was doing in KNP, which was stuff that looked like the KNP example files like toyland. Like I found vague attempts at RTS's and stuff like that.

Hey what if I *did* organize that into a compo? Furreal? Like a compo stating: Submit your oldest game, etc. I think it might get a decent amount of people since you don't have to do any work!

i'll cheat and get a head start by seeing what I could possibly dig up first
I've got like 10000 floppy disks, many labled "KNP", but I've got nearly a hundred TGF games that never saw light

Iz dat sum custom platform engine? Or just the default one with square detectors to prevent wall-sticking?
Either way it's more advanced than any platformer i've created

Right... This is so complex I can't believe it. Are you sure it was made in MMF2, it looks too high quality. It is beautiful. It is obvious that whoever made this (I believe Rob is being sarcastic... Don't tell him I said that... Also I hate sarcasm... I am never sarcastic..EVER!!!) put way more time and effort into this than that one horribly ugly game, Luor. Remember, I'm NEVER sarcastic. I'm pretty sure the team who designed this used Flash, Photoshop, and a bunch of other expensive tools to make this. Yes, team! It's obviously too good for a single person! It should be sold on retail for 68,905,348,205,180,239.95 USD. Right.
If you believe that, I've got a free penthouse in London I would like to sell you. Very Cheap! Only 705,801,347,604,589,619,083,546,893,124,512,973,891,566,936,741.67 USD! Back to business... This game is embaressing to those who use MMF2. It makes it seem very inferior to Flash and other game making products. >> I am sad. Ooh! Here's the link to my first game! BTW, I'm remaking it for the next gen compo. It is WAY worse than this! I'm a shoo-in to win! Here:

I wish so badly I had all my old little games. I've done several formats and had several HDD crashes losing all my data in the past 7 years.
