Haha, I just wore a fake mustache today for fun. My fedora and aviators are much more attractive with it.

I know a lot of eccentric people, lol. The smarter they are, the more eccentric. There's one dropout med student who became a professional terrorist with lots of religious knowledge and medical experience, came back to Malaysia, got arrested for crime, taught religion to convicts. Since he was a religious professional, he actually taught it properly and reformed many of them. When he got out of jail, he still did some minor bits of crime and corruption, but since he was, deep down, a nice guy who's friends with exconvincts, the police decided to take him as an undercover officer, in exchange for letting past some of his smaller crimes. They couldn't get enough evidence to charge him for some of his crimes anyway.

Plenty of others, but I'll leave that to later. I find that the smartest people are the weirdest.

So do I. Then of course, once they get too weird, you start to wonder if that seemingly-high intelligence isn't really that intelligent. But maybe that's wisdom, not intelligence. Most people I know who are smart aren't really wise, and tend to get caught up in things without making their own logical decisions. Most people I know who are wise are very smart though. Sometimes you wonder if the really eccentric people who are goofy but sometimes spontaneously profound thinkers are wise, (and use humor as a stress release valve--I know I'm like that.) and if certain ways of seeing things are shared between people of the same levels of intelligence and wisdom. Sometimes you can tell by the look in people's eyes, sometimes people are hard nuts to crack--I can't figure out if that's a trait of cunning or of plain ol' simplemindedness. Probably both.

Sometimes people are just nuts.

If I kept going I'd be here for a while. I'm of the firm belief that slightly eccentric/goofy people are the best and most amiable and intelligent people on earth, though not always wise. (80/20 with the wise)

Oh gee, all of that made more sense in my head. That's what I get for trying to put it into words. >_>;; It's too late for thinking. Bed.

We used to go on midnight walks with our acoustic guitars, wandering the streets having a jam. Or...

We're not much normal around here though. In them there hills you have to do your own thing.

Heh, OMC, I always kinda felt that after reaching a certain point, a guy's brain snaps. The smartest people I know - they've snapped too many times. I think going past that sanity point makes them what they are.

You're probably right, Muz. People are definitely interesting. The cases I've encountered are never dramatic, though. You can just tell when someone's a little... off.

Oh God Jay, you're not of those fellas who take guitars out and sit around in a circle are you?

Despise the bastards.

The most eccentric person I know might be a guy I used to know called Richard who would bring four litres of coke to drink at dinner at school, and two full packets of chocolate digestives - just those things only - and then spend the whole of the dinner hour, and the afternoon's lessons, running around because sugar made him go hyper. And there wasn't an inch of fat on him. I don't know if that makes him eccentric or just a bit of a twat, but I guess the difference is minimal anyway.

Jesus James, you really do live on the edge!

Most eccentric person I know in real life is probably my oldest brother. The first student loan he got went a two day trip to Madrid when his best friend phoned him during a lecture and told him she was bored
