In your post please say a couple lines about a game your working on, or a game that you would like to see be made.
People reading can take the ideas and make them, or get exited for a game your making.
Please have a game idea in each post, try not to get too off topic
I'll go first then?
-Top-down rpg (Zelda-type game)
About a person who died and went to hell, a free roam kind of game, where you have to go through hell and defeat all the high demons.
Once you defeat lucifer and all his family, you can go back to your life on earth.
But you can only doing this by mastering the skills you get by defeating each boss.
Sounds like a pretty cool idea for a game, and I'm thinking about trying to make it better.
(Haha I just made it up on the spot. I do like it though)
Your just jealous that you're not as awesome as me.
(And my megaman avatar )
One idea I'm starting to work on is a 1 player or co-op platforming shooter game. But i also am in the process of making a zombie game with 360 aiming. Still in the engine design so I'm not sure if I'll actually finish it.
I'm not posting my latest few. Too revolutionary. Had this great multiplayer idea too this morning, I'm certain it could make money so I'm keeping it to myself, until I finish the other two games
Instead, I'll post an old idea.
Snow Siege:
It's a sport between two teams. Both build snow forts, and are only allowed a certain weight of wood to support it. Your team starts off with a few stats - fort building, fort engineering, strength, aim, cold resistance/endurance.
Your objective is then to blast the other team with as much snow as you can. A player loses when he gives up, or when the referee declares that he's not looking well. Damage can carry on to the next few matches, so it's a bit of a pick to when to give up.
Early teams will start with mostly a tower and some snowballs. Later, once the players are tough and smart enough, snowballs won't have so much effect. But the smart players will get building some gates, better walls, windows, and wooden snowball launchers.
You start off with a limited amount of time to build your fort (this is in real time). Players with higher skill in fort building will build them much faster.
I actually have the skills to make this game now, in less than 2 months, but don't have the time for it
Disclaimer: Any sarcasm in my posts will not be mentioned as that would ruin the purpose. It is assumed that the reader is intelligent enough to tell the difference between what is sarcasm and what is not.
I'm in the process of rethinking my failed project Disciple's Reach to change the gameplay and give it a more relevant name when I start to tackle it. Been doing a heap of spriting, so I'm still in the quite excited stage with it
Hopefully when I get it underway I will revamp the project page and try to attract some attention

I'm making a game for a friend's birthday (it was like last month, I'm still not done ). It's a Platform Action/RPG, with 3 characters - my friend, my wife, and me - each with different attacks that can be upgraded with Shards you earn from killing enemies. Really quite basic, with linear levels. Maybe I'll post it up here when it's done, too.
An idea I'm hoping to start at some point is an epic adventure game, really open world with incredibly deep NPCs - capable of making decisions, acting by their own will, and hopefully creating dramatic situations to make the game world dynamic, never the same experience. I think I have a something worked out for a great conversation system, giving the player lots of options and not just preset lines tailored to specific NPCs.
The whole game will be based on allowing the player to make their own decisions and walk whatever path they want, there will never be set quests or a linear main quest to follow. At the moment I'm thinking there will be one main objective, and the nature of the game will allow for infinite ways to accomplish it.
I have a lot written down for it, and a lot more to write. It might seem overly ambitious, but I've got it all figured out...
I have a game planned in my head which i know i can program, but i can't draw well enough to make it good.
It would basically be a pub tycoon game, where you have to build a pub and ensure you make a profit. There would be different groups of people, old men, families with kids, youths wanting to party etc. If you build a dance floor, then the youths would love it but the old men would get grumpy, so you'd have to serve lots of ales to make them happy it would be pretty simple to play and would be kind of like theme hospital i guess. I may work on it one day.

I won't allow you to make that game, you're capable of much more innovative things than a pub tycoon, Nick
