Hi, I have started making a litle game a week ago using MultiMedia Fusion 2 Developper, I bought it because I remember trying the old The Games Factory when I was a kid and, I found MMF2 while searching for TGF on google, and seeing that just brought back too many memories...

Point is, I've been making a little game and I want to share it with the community, and this website seems to be the...Best to share MMF2 Games, but I don't really know how this works !

Where do I post ? Do I need any particular thing ? And then how do I upload? Using rapidshare ? Megaupload ?

That's just some questions I would like to find an answer before posting the game...

Ive been making it for a week, I started June 07 and I've been polishing it since then...

The game is actually starting to get kinda heavy, mostly because of the sounds of course, but I have been compressing them all as .ogg vorbis, that seems to be the smallest sound format.

So, I guess the old "No Pics, No Clicks" applies here...But since I'm not gonna post any "click" I don't see why I just post a pic?? Just kidding...

The game as you can see features really high graphic violence...

It features 7 weapons (for now) :
Pistol
Dual Pistol
SubMachineGun
Shotgun
Sniper Rifle
Rpg
Machete (for melee)

As well as 3 explosives
Grenades
Mines
SMG Grenades

As well as 6 Outfits :

1 = Army Of Two Mask = Regenerate health 1 point per 4 seconds when health above half, and 3 per second when health is low.
2 = Jason Mask = Kills with machete in one blow, enables cutting in half and gives health to the player on each machette kill.
3 = Bandana = Gives Unlimited Ammo
4 = Ninja Mask = Bounces bullets when hitting them with machete, increases player speed and jump strenght.
5 = Neo SunGlasses = Slows down Enemy bullets, and make that when a player bullet hits an ennemy bullet, it destroys it.
6 = Opitcal Camo = Ennemies Cannot see the player, unless player touches them, or player fires a weapon without silencer.

To earn the Outfits you have to earn certain achievements which you get survey in the options menu, as well as a detailed score( frag per weapon, in deathmatch or campaign, ect...)

For now, I am currently working on the Deathmatch, I will focus on the campaign when the engine will be ready, I will release a beta of the Deathmatch when it will be done.

The game is unfortunatly NOT Multiplayer, I'm sorry I suck too much at coding, I tried but there is just too many events ! (Over 3000 per deathmatch map)

The game feature profile management, which means you can create as many profiles as you want, and all the player's data will be saved in a file with the profile name, you can create, edit or delete any profile, but when you do, all the data saved within this profile gets deleted...

When you play, the profile name displays above the player, because sometimes the warfield becomes just too much messy, and it gets difficult to see where the player is.
You can customize your profile's color, as well as specific options per profile (Fullscreen, reflections, difficulty, violence amount, ect...)

In the deathmatch maps, you can ask for Supplies, which will drop a crate with ammo and health.
You can request Air Support, which will send a plane which will drop missiles AFTER the area you clicked in, so dont keep walking after you call for a plane...
You can also request Ground Support, which will send a truck to the player's position, and when the player, or any ally dies, instead of spawning back in allies base, they will spawn in the truck, until it is destroyed.

But be carefull !

Ennemies can call trucks and planes ! If they do, destroy them as fast as you can, or else you will missiled, or killed by ennemy reinforcements !

To do that, nothing better than the rpg !


There are 3 weapons improvements to unlock thanks to achievements :

Explosive shells for Shotgun
Rocket Tracking for RPG (rocket follows the mouse pointer)
And Bullet Tracking for Sniper (the camera follows the bullet, and you can move it with the controls)


For now there are only 2 maps done, but I am working on a third...

And that's about It, ill release a beta soon, any questions, post here.

Hmm, looks ok from the screenshots.

I guess I'd have to see it in action to really judge it.
Also those characters look familiar

Yeah I kinda suck at graphics, I'm not really good a drawing 2d graphics, I'm better on 3d graphics, or editing an existing 2d graphics...

Thoses characters are from the TGF example zeb, by Nolan Worthington, I give proper credits in the readme...I just edited them to make them look different.

As I said up there, the player can "customize" his character by wearing an outfit, a mask which interacts with the gameplay...

Oh something I forgot to say earlier, the player can put silencers to the pistols, dual pistols and SMG...
