Wow.. I'll be honest, when Michael Jackson died, it was a surprise but I can't say many people around me, including myself, really took the news as news until we took a few seconds to think back for what he was truly famous for. He sort of faded out these recent years.
But Billy Mays? This was perhaps the biggest surprise for me of them all... he was still very active, still doing product booths and working on the show Pitchman for The Discovery Channel. This is a guy I will truly miss, I've seen all his infomercials, and first saw and heard about him when I was really, really young, with Oxyclean.
...Kinda looks familiar, but not sure if i've seen him on t.v. or not. Dr. James, that's one hell of a weird prediction if Mr. Swayze is next! Hope he's not tho....!
Its an assassin I tell you. He/she/it is killing a the celebrities just when they are gonna get good.(Micheal jackson was gonna do his concerts to get back, Heath Ledger was amazing in Batman, etc.) Billy Mays just found out his secret plan and then he killed him.

This is all true. I was watching that Pitchmen show... that was high-quality stuff! I'm serious, I never expected to wake up and see "TODAY IS NOW NATIONAL CAPS LOCK DAY IN HONOR OF BILLY MAYS!" on Facebook.
You never know. Maybe there's some mass murderer celebrity killer on the loose.

Yeah he got pretty annoying yelling like that. I think it's a scam to sell more Oxyclean cuz' people feel sorry for him. He'll slowly blend back into society, pretending to be a U.S. border patrol agent known as Pedro.

misquote? swayze isnt dead. billy mays is the one who was in the plane mishap.

Yeah, actually I'm gonna miss Billy Mays myself. I hate info commercial, but I still respected the guy. I know his name's been around for a long time, but I think people were just starting to really notice Billy Mays sold EVERYTHING recently. Billy Mays jokes were popping up more and more often too. And that one guy from attack of the show(Kevin wasn't it?) even dressed up as him during the halloween episode.
The difference between Michael Jackson and Billy Mays is that Michael created something unique, but Billy advertised unique items that others created. Personally, I feel that a 'creation' > an 'advertisement' of many creations.
But then again, you could say that Michael just sang songs that others had written (did he write all his own songs?, I doubt it), and
Billy used his voice just as well as Michael and was an everyman, and Michael was an eccentric wacko who may or may not have abused children and he obviously had some serious mental issues (scary).
I knew neither personally, thus having no real emotional attachment to them, the only thing that I will truly miss of either is what they could have accomplished in the future. I identified with them both on some level, but comparing the works of both, I'd much prefer listening to music and watching fancy dancing over watching infomercials and a short-lived tv show (sadly all too literal), but that's just me, to each their own.
Michael supposedly was going to do a comeback tour, but was he even going to perform any new songs or just the old stuff?
And Billy had a popular show, which I only got to watch an episode of. (how many did they make before he died? A full season or less?)
You know that some comedian guy died too? ... Some guy that I've never heard of who did voices extremely well to the point of exact precision. What was his name? Maybe there seriously is a celebrity assasin killing them all and making it look like they are accidents.
Truth is often stranger than fiction, so one can never tell. There sure is enough of them dying lately though, I know that.
