I found BOM up there a few days ago as well as Splotches! Compo Edition. I never put them up there and they have descriptions I didn't write. I actually almost posted a similar topic when I found them.
I'd rather they weren't there... since they're awful old versions. >_>
I had a really old game of mine once added to a freeware site :S
You should ask them to remove it if you don't want it there. It's kind of rude when people just assume they can add your game to their site, I mean sometimes its okay but if you didn't even know about it its just strange.
Disclaimer: Any sarcasm in my posts will not be mentioned as that would ruin the purpose. It is assumed that the reader is intelligent enough to tell the difference between what is sarcasm and what is not.
I've had quite a few games posted on quite a free freeware websites. The only problem I have is that at least two thirds of the websites they're on, are in some weird language I can't even find a translator to mildly make sense of. So I can't see what they said about the game or what other people are saying about the game. It's sort of bitter sweet if you ask me.
I wouldn't worry about it, but if they're hosting the file themselves I suggest that you download it and check that everything is in there. I've seen some of my games on other sites had the readme file removed, other files renamed to Polish and compiled with an installer. But if everything looks fine, then think of it as free hosting and advertising. It's the same as Rikus putting games like Destruction Carnival in the Klik Museum.
