Haven't found an intro thread, so I figured I'd make it here.
That being said, This place is a bit of nostalgia for me. I was pretty active here about three years ago and I remember a lot of you guys. Of course, you won't know me. At least, not yet.
Three years back, I had an account here but really didn't do too much. I was fairly new to MMF at the time, and I was 13 after all. In any case, I had left informally because I was getting too busy between school, work, M:tG, Girls... A lot of stuff had to go, and seeing as I was starting up with VB in school I had left the forums period.
In the three years since, I've managed to graduate High School at 16, get a job with Pheonix Games where I'm payed royalties for pretty much no work whatsoever, become the top M:tG player at my tournament site, and learned VB, C++, and Java.
I've decided to return because despite my coding knowledge, I find MMF2 to be just as powerful as Visual Studio, faster than coding, and by far the best for graphical implementations.
Now, you won't recognize me because I've gotten rid of the old account and started fresh. If some of you knew what my old account was, you would understand why. In any case, I'm starting fresh and it's good to be back, so hello to everyone at TDC.
congratulations, you have just finished reading my post!
Thanks, I've been hard at work for once in my life, what can I say. It's great getting back to my roots in MMF, all this time I've been working with Microsoft products and wishing I could just r-click and have it type the whole stupid thing in for me. Not that it'll matter now of course, I've got all the time in the world...
congratulations, you have just finished reading my post!
Eh, I find MMF annoying in trying to do some things that coding languages do easily, but yeah, it's a lot easier with some things. Nice to have more skilled coders, though. I should delete my account and start a new one too
Disclaimer: Any sarcasm in my posts will not be mentioned as that would ruin the purpose. It is assumed that the reader is intelligent enough to tell the difference between what is sarcasm and what is not.
i'd really like to know who you are. if you really have changed (for whatever reason youd want to start fresh from) there's no reason to hide who you were.
anyway, cheers. welcome back.
now. everybody delete your account!!!! lets see if we can figure out who is who
OMG musical chair accounts! Let's all switch names and see if we can figure out the real identities.
Welcome back to TDC, don't worry, I've left and came back and lurked many times in the past 9 years. It's somewhat part of being a casual clicker. Clicker's fate.
