Just wondering, would it be possible to zoom in and out of a frame (By using the arrow keys or mouse wheel for example). To me it seems like a pretty far fetched concept but scrolling left/right up/down just doesn't seem dynamic enough.
This might be very hard to pull off, honestly I have no idea, but post your ideas if you have any.

It's definitely possible, and there are some tutorials knocking around somewhere that show you how - possibly here or the clickteam forums?
I think the ViewPort extension is what you want, but I've never really experimented with it.
Alternatively, I think you can use the window extension to resize the window, and then tick the box for "resize display to fit window" or something like that, and then it gets stretched - I forget the specifics though.
Either way, I'd expect the frame-rate to take a pretty big hit, so if it's a fast-paced, scrolling shooter you're making, then it probably isn't going to be worth trying.
Sorry, that was probably the least informative post ever...

Thanks for your help, the veiwport object may very well be a solution.
Here's what I managed to throw together quickly:

It's far from perfect, as I'm not sure how to get rid of the black areas covering the rest of the frame. The basic idea is there though, any suggestions on how to improve it?
Havn't experimented with window resizing yet, and yeah I suspect that with a more populated frame, the frame-rate would drop noticeably.
Also, you can alter the zoom speed through the active's alterable values, however I noticed that at large zoom speeds (like 50), the zooming effect seems to shudder slightly.
Once again, thanks for your help

Wow! That really looks good. I've always wondered how to zoom myself. Wonder if it looks as good if there is a little more actions/objects
...Atleast thats what Batman told me!

-J- How did you do this? I was looking at your example and I'm really thankful you posted it but unfortunately I am unable to see how you came up with what you did.
Is there a specific reason you have the Viewport coordinates setup to retrieve from the 4 red actives?
I'm pretty stupid when it comes to MMF so I'm sorry if this seems like a stupid question.
