It's definitely not new. People argue over whether left-handed people are more creative than right-handed people, but that's not what Alspal said. In my experience there are more creative left-handed people than there are non-creative left-handed people.
All the lefties I know are either entrepreneurs or creative so... true?
but omg thats a positive stereotype so that means we're going to prison under the PC act of 2007 where you're not allowed to distinguish between 2 types of people.
im left, and use the mouse left; and yes nim, i feel your pain. - i just use a MS basic optical mouse - it seems to be the most comfy for me. since i have access to all of the mice at work, the cheapy feels the best, the expensive MS, logitech and razor mice are awful. so saving$ for me
My girlfriend is left-handed. I'm a righty, though. Aside from writing, there's not that much difference in being left or right handed
I play FPSes just as good with control in either hand. I think the guitar was invented by a left-hander. Oh well, we've got more gaming mice But I really don't think it's that hard to learn to use the mouse with my left hand.. it's just that I'd get confused for a while between "left-click" and "right-click".
Disclaimer: Any sarcasm in my posts will not be mentioned as that would ruin the purpose. It is assumed that the reader is intelligent enough to tell the difference between what is sarcasm and what is not.

Mmm, that reminds me of an annoying part of being left-handed. After a day in social studies in 5th grade, the side of my hand would be entirely grey, and the notes would have a uniform haze all over them. After that I used to have trouble with ink pen smearing, but for some reason neither of those things happen much anymore. I guess it's because I don't take as many notes in my college classes. Or I've just adjusted somehow. Or maybe it still happens and I just don't notice anymore?
But it's still infernally annoying to have 40 right-handed desks to every 1 left-handed desk, and right-handed people who don't care about writing during class have taken all the left-handed seats.
Everything about my right hand is superior to my left hand, although my left hand is probably just lazy. Also, I think you're born with that trait. It's decided from which hemisphere of your brain is the dominant one. That is also why the stereotype exists as the right side of your brain is more creative and is responsible for controlling the left side of your body. The left side the strategist logical mathematical side.
I notice lefties generally have a nicer writing ability too.
Also fun to know that if you have a sinus headache on the right side of your face than the sinus infection is more likely on the left side of your face. I dunno why they programmed brains backwards, god must be a lefty.
thinking is like pong, it's easy, but you miss sometimes.
Left handers are more 'creative' because they can't write properly without smudging the writing and are better at finger painting. Right handed people are better because they can write mathematical formulae.
