Hey, manager here. We have certain safety precautions in place because of threatened legal action in the past. Sending points to yourself results in a tear in the space-time continuum, and suddenly your account is split in two and registers as two different people from one IP.

I've already explained this several times, and you know it really does suck that no one is going to take me seriously or respect me because of this nonsense. As far as the IP is concerned, I've explained that before. Chloe and I are old friends, and when she started doing design, we started talking again and I told her about the company I'm trying to get started, so she moved out here from WA and stayed at my place with me and my wife, so she was using my computer and my internet service for the last few months. If anyone wants me to explain anything, please ask me, jumping out and pointing fingers really doesn't help anything.

Really, in the end no one can prove any sort of validity for their identity on the internet, so it shouldn't really matter. I've heard it said on the forums a while back with the another fake account thing that sometimes people just choose to re-join the community under a different name for their own personal reasons. In the end, we're all here to make/promote/develop/improve game-making with Clickteam tools anyway, right?

For the record, I wouldn't say that if there wasn't a tangible similarity and other things to augment it. I always feel it's important to be welcoming and friendly to both new and old members, but being genuine comes first. I have written it all out several times and deleted it because I don't have the time nor the patience to argue with you over it, especially when apparently nobody cares whether people make big fabrications and get by with it. My last post was not intended to convince others or I would have posted evidence. It was intended to declare that I was completely convinced. Good grief, how old was Chloe? She moved in your house to make games (bet your wife loved that) and then up and quits altogether? Either this is all the most bizarre set of coincidences or I'm an idiot, because that is bogus. What I will say though is that you still don't have a license to be mean. Don't play innocent, because you have been very terse and unnecessarily caustic. She's 19? How is that a problem? Me and my wife have known her for quite some time, but of cource you know more about it, so go ahead and get personal about it. And you don't know exactly the circumstances around why she left, I gave everyone the gist of it but I will not go any further about it. Here is my point of view, it was if like I would poof vanish and a day later my "brother" would come online saying I had some issues and quit the site. Then 2 days later my brother would release a game. And then 4 days later would post a weird silly topic.

Not everything in life is a freakin bowl of cherries, so instead of casting aside and ignoring those who are obviously having a bit trouble being happy or friendly, maybe you could try to figure out why they are unhappy, angry or tough to get along with. It's called communication, and it's apparant that very few of you actually know what it's about.
The real sad thing is I'm very easy to get along with, I'm just at the wrong place at the wrong time. It problably has happend to most of you, if not it will happen, but its a real great feeling when you're standing up for yourself, and no one else has the guts to give you a hand. Someone doesn't know the definition of sarcasm. And this is what ticks me off more than anything about gamebuilder, everyone just assumes that because I'm angry about the results of the competition that it's because my game lost. Notice how I've never said anything of the sort. I never started being negative until everyone started telling me I was negative. I'm not going to deny I've been negative, but sheesh, it's like most of you have a really big head. I'm still loling that you think the whole competition was fake. The scores were divided into 4 categorys. Tamapumpkin scored perfect for Graphics, Music and happiness. It deserved those perfect scores and doubt you can honestly deny the music sounding good, the graphics being really pretty and the overall game being happy. So that just leaves points for gameplay, which even if I gave it a zero, it would still have been in the top 3.
As for us pretending to be happy, you got it all wrong. Happiness is a choice, and it's not the same thing as agreement either. There's tons of things I and the other admins disagree on but still manage to get along.

In my defense for starting this topic, I had no idea I was in "Hot Water". Seriously guys, I really didn't think explaining the situation qualified me for being negative or a jerk to everyone. And in all fairness, only one person, one stinking person had the decency to at least play along. You should all rethink how you're dealing with this situation. Is it really wrong to criticize me for trying to make a light of a situation that from that point in time didn't seem like a big issue to me? Honestly I'm having some major issues with depression, just because someone has a hard time dealing with a few words means everyone has to make me feel like a jerk for posting a joke? I dare you to read any of my posts and see if I get anywhere close to a personal attack on anyone (other than calling Mr.Sludgy a douche, but believe me I've been trying to fight that one back for a while). I have people that have the nerve to sit around and call me a liar for something they have no real knowledge about, and you seriously think that anyone is going to take me seriously or give me any respect if this is still going around? The fact that I just got here is irrelevant to the situation. If you walked into a room somewhere and someone stabs you with a fork, then you punch him back and he says "you just got here, you can't defend yourself, that's just childish and silly", how outrageous of a situation is that? I might be new to this community but I'm not new to people. And it really seems to me that most people here don't like anyone thats different.

Yeah, hiding behind the scores really shows off your judging skills. Most of the other games in the competition were scored so shoddily that they didn't even stand a chance. Sure maybe the game deserved good scores in all of those catagories, but so did alot of the other games that you so easily passed over. I was also under the impression that the happiness score was open to interpretation, which it blatantly was not. And based on how the scoring went, and what you've said, it obviously boiled down to a contest about looks, you could have easily thrown out the other scores and made it a hell of alot easier on everyone.
Spare me the happiness rhetoric. Sure it's a choice, but right now I'm very angry and if I don't express it, I'll problably end up stabbing several people in my general vicinity. Happyness is a choice, but you should never use it as an excuse. It's great that you and the admins can get along, but I can guarantee that same sympathy does not stretch down to the lesser known members of the community.
I have some really interesting tidbits of information in my posts, and if anyone of you could take the time to read it without assuming that its 100% negative and blaming others for my own problems (which if you actually read some of it you would know they aren't) then maybe some of you might learn something.

I was having a conversation with someone, and unlike everyone else, he was actually letting me vent to him. I know I said you could've banned me at any time, but it's real convienient how you did it after you let me know you were reading our private messages. I really really would like to say some very obscene things right now, but I'm going to try and calm down and not. I may not be respected or have earned my opinion, but if anyone here backs you up for your recent actions, then you aren't people, and don't even dare give me anything about being negative. I didn't even see the stuff on gamebuilder. I'm talking about here, on TDC. Every other post from you is a sarcastic shooting down of other people or another heated up comment. Sarcasm can be fun sometimes, but this was negative sarcasm. Not all of it was, but some of it.
As for the rest, I didn't read it. I've tried to come up with the best way to say this, and it's difficult. You must understand the position I am coming from. We just got rid of one of the most subversive and game-playing trolls who caused trouble but never really broke the rules. Now a set of weird circumstances too ridiculously hard for me to logically ignore has come up, indicating that a new member may be willing to tell farces. And I'm supposed to sit here and act stupid, all while that person is being mean and getting away with it because they could pull out the victim card any time. Can you see why that's frustrating? It is very frustrating. I was in a community once where I was picked on by the mods because the forum was dying and they had nothing to do, and for no other reason. So I know, if you are another person, just how frustrated you must be. But when everything, even intuition, points to a fat lie, something is wrong or extremely coincidental.
I feel like this is a giant mockery. I don't care who you are, stop being a jerk. I know you feel like that's what I'm being, but what would you do if you felt like someone came in and felt like they could just crap all over the site because others were suspicious of them?

In this case I should think that people naturally gravitate to people who act like them. I also thought it was a great feeling to stand up to people when no one else believes you and actually win, as opposed to the first part without the second. If you lose you don't feel good.
If there were to be evidence placed against you, they would be:
- Same IP (explained)
- Similar writing styles
- Both complain about the lack of "simple features" in MMF2
- One appears right after the other
- Inability to argue case in any way besides "you have no proof"
But none of those alone are really grounds to fight. It's impossible to prove anything to anyone to the most significant degree. I hope you don't beat me to the punch because I hate it when I type something and someone beats me to it. From now on you should be really clever and use a different IP address. Hmm... wait a second! Let's get Clubsoft to check Chloe's past IP addresses. Then we can at least verify whether or not she moved. Anyways...

Clubsoft can't check past ip's for a specific user. That would have to be built into the system from the start.
I can confirm that OMGGames is indeed from where he says he is. And so far the only thing I could argue is the fact that he's been a bit of a pain, but that's about it. I can't see any reason not to believe him.
I've apologized to OMGGames by DC Mail, and I think we're both ready to forgive and forget and remember each other's point of view. For all intents and purposes this discussion is over. I will continue to watch my actions and make sure they are fair. I'm going to lock this topic, and if you have something to say you may DC Mail me.
