Calling all Awesome Sprite/ Pixel Artists!
Gameloft, a leading international publisher and developer of video games for mobile phones and consoles, is seeking 2D Sprite/Pixel Artists to join their existing talent pool. Qualified candidates will link up with imaginative design teams to create hot new game titles, fulfilling a wide range of genres from hardcore action to casual simulation. Previous hit games include Carmen Sandiego, Oregon Trail, Hawx, Farcry 2, Asphalt 4, Zombie Infection, Castle of Magic, Soul of Darkness, Spiderman: Toxic City, Assassin’s Creed, Prince of Persia, with an average professionally reviewed score of 8.2/10 or better!
As a key member of the development team, you’ll create game art within challenging parameters while working with other well known pixel artists from the initial concept art to animation to the final delivery.
Must-haves/ know-how:
• Experience on creating game graphics (for professionally released game or for leisure)
• Proficient in Photoshop, Promotion and/or other drawing software
• Strong understanding of the principles of animation
• A solid background in drawing, sketching and/or illustration
• Think creatively, work well independently and as a team player
You’ll earn brownie points if you have:
• Knowledge about optimization of computer art
• A love for video games, inside & out
• Sprite/Pixel art experience creating sprite/pixel art for GB, GBA or mobile games for (low-resolution computer graphics: 2D video games, sprites, icons, etc.)

I don't like gameloft, it seems they always just rip off classic games. Also, the gameloft Bubble Bash demo on my phone ended after one 10-second level and had too much dialogue and menus for the amount of content. Also, I'm not 18, so there are labor rules and stuff, I'm sure.

I dunno they seem to have made some nice stuff, and it's good experience. Just annoys me nowadays that so few companies achknowledge applications, general questions or tell you if your application has been rejected.
