Right, so I've been watching this show since it first came out, and it's one of the few shows out there where I'll put it on just to fill silent air, and end up watching it from start to finish. I honestly love the show. I never really tried to read any of the books, but guaranteed, after watching the show, I will. Keep in mind though, it's supposed to be very loosely based on the books.
Regardless, does anyone else have any opinions on the show? I'm so excited to dive into the second season.

Well I think any present-day fantasy show is going to be kind of cheesy. It's fantastic though. More people need to post here, I think it's sad that this show is being so over-looked.

I've seen the first season. I really liked the first 10 episodes or so but the last episodes of the season was so disappointing. Worst Bad Guy Vs Good Guy battle ever !
I haven't decided if I'm going to start watching season 2 yet.

that is true the last episode of season one could have been a little more epic.....oh well their budget cant be all that big i'd think.

You mean the episode where Zed had his memory wiped and made young again so that he could name a new seeker? Yeah, I know what you mean, but I think that action isn't the leading reason why I love the show. I mean take Star Trek for example. Great show, but quite a few episodes don't have a lot of high strung action in them. They're still great. This had to have been one of my less favorite episodes of them all, for sure, but I enjoy the series as a whole.

No I meant the last episode of season 1  . Where Darken Raal was destroyed. For what I can remember they didn't even fight, which was kinda lame I think.
I've seen the episodes of season 2 now. Quite good so far though  . I liked the latest episodes where Zed was young.
Oh and one thing I don't really like is how they always go slow-mo when they fight and are about to deal the killing blow to an enemy.
