Just a heads up, a late one at that. Steams having one pretty savvy sale week on at the moment. Every day for the next 4 days (I think) they're discounting loads of games.
So far I've bought GRID, Osmos and Knights of the Old Republic for about £6!

It's alright, finished a couple of them blobs on the menu screen but the game itself feels like a flash game. I like it but I wouldn't have paid more than £2 for it.
Eve Online, Battlefield 2 collection, Lucidity, Trackmania Forever, Prince of Persia, World of Goo and Guild Wars trilogy are all discounted 50-75% today!
The Goo one would be tempting but I already bought it during their birthday sale thingy a month or so back.
yup. it figures that as soon as i get a ton of games to play my rig commits suicide. got the nv4_disp error again. then a system corruption on boot. did xp repair. and now it cant even get passed the windowsxp logo boot. im really getting tired of this.
and guess what. it WAS. lol. 2 capacitors on the video card were blown. i found some on an old mobo and soldered them onto the card. card works now, but i screwed up my windows install before trying to figure out what the problem was so now sli bluescreens my comp. working on getting that working, hoping i dont have to format and restore, and that it works if i do.
Just bought Mirrors Edge, won't run on this machine but at £3.50ish it's one to play later.
I think that's it for the sale too . I was in town before and totally forgot about the new offers, went into an Apple store just to check what todays deals were .
Holy crap...now THAT'S how you fight piracy. I just bought 2 games without even thinking about it (Monkey Island 1 Special Edition and Evil Genius - 5€)
Mirror's Edge is most excellent fun. Also, I agree with Adam: Spore was a huge letdown. If you weren't one of us who eagerly followed its development progress and all the promises that wright gave about the game, you might be able to enjoy it on its own merits. But if it's something that you were waiting for, avoid.
It'll all blow over.

^Agree totally^. Being the only one in college when people brought it in to actually go .

One thing about university, that really really really bugs me... They have bloked Steam. Which is annoying beyond belief.
They have also bloked WoW and my dear friend is utterly gutted as in, he actually cried in front of me. I couldn't help but lol...
