Hi everyone,

I was playing this game called Epic War, and I'm sure it is based off of an older game but I can't remember what it was. Anyway, it's a flash game that I found here.

I was wondering if anyone remembered what game this was based off of or am I just mistaken?

There are loads of games like that.
"Armor Alley" was probably the first and best (there was a clone on the GBA called "Super Army War").
"Siege" had some elements in common, but the gameplay was a bit different.

Also, Vertigo was making a game like this in MMF2, set in the Warhammer 40K universe:

EDIT: You know, you could probably make a game like this in under 20 events... (HINT)

Thanks, I'll go check that out. I just seem to remember some one telling me that there was a game like that on the C64 or something. Maybe I'm just remembering it wrong.

I actually have Glory Days 2 for the DS. Witch is the sequel to "Super Army War". It was only called that in the US. I don't know why they thought that name sounded better then Glory Days. I mean Glory Days is pretty cheesy but.... I'm sorry super army war just sounds silly to me.

Anyway, thanks for the info. I'll go and check that out.
