w00t, new year in 4 hours. I'm gonna have a poker party
Disclaimer: Any sarcasm in my posts will not be mentioned as that would ruin the purpose. It is assumed that the reader is intelligent enough to tell the difference between what is sarcasm and what is not.
Starts for me in 11 hours now, but my girlfriend is working on call overnight, doing her vet nurse duties, and she's all alone and can't leave where she's working, so I've decided to spend a quiet evening with her instead of the normal family bash. And the next few days, meaning I won't be updating for a bit.
The plan here is for a biiiig family do, first NYE with the girlfriend too. Rock Band 2, dogs, a baby, a heavily pregnant cousin, a mountain of buffet food and then winding away the early hours tomorrow morning on L4D2. Should be a good un . Normally it's just immediate family so it's a bit of a change for me!
Another good 11 hours before hand here- I'll be either drawing, listening to my iPod, Facebooking, or sitting outside in the nice snow, enjoying the blue moon, reflecting or daydreaming about the year and decade past. Or sleeping.
Someone let off a hell of a load of those chinese lantern things on the hill above us. Had no idea what was going on... with the partial lunar eclipse I thought THE ALIENS WERE HERE. Or zombies.
