I was thinking it might be a great idea to introduce a new section to the Daily Spotlight. The new feature would sit comfortably next to the Dailyspot highlighting classic DC games of the past. I personally think its a great way to discovering a classic we all may of missed even the admin team too. You might think yeh..... thats a great idea but you could always find these classic's in the following pages: The Download section, The Klik Museum or The GOTM/W section. This is true but to quote AndyUK in a recent post "It's better to ask someone than to trudge through tons of crap to find some answers"! (Great line by the way Andy made me laugh) ! Its true its much easy for someone else to tell you "this is a classic download it" being spoonfed is much more fun and who better to advise than The Daily Click Hey even we could recommend the next classic spotlight to one of the admins, if the games not on the Daily Click anymore unfortunately it happens we could send it to the Museum CareTaker! I'd certainly like to see the classic's back on the front pages again!! So what do you guys think, is this a good idea????? I made a moc example below:

I see no reason why we couldn't reserve one spot on the spotlight for older titles and put them in manually!

EDIT: Except perhaps the fact that the spotlight has issues and will not work correctly at this moment.

This could be a good thing. I'd say there should be a preselected list of games that it cycles through, just so it's not another thing for an admin to change. As games lose their hosts they should either be looked after by a DC admin (uploaded here, for example) or removed from the list.

Do iiiiit!

It's been suggested several times that at least part of the spotlight should be automatic. I can't remember why it wasn't chosen, but you'd need a site coder to do it and Flava and Club have been busy.

You should wait for them to finish TDC arcade and the mmo before anything else. Why isn't anything being done about this?
