I started working on a game for the *dah-dah-daaah* Gamebuilder.info 20 event competition. The thing is, I got so tied up in trying to squeeze as much as I could out of 20 events (I really enjoy that part) that I didn't leave much time to actually finish the game. As of now, I still only have one frame and some placeholder graphics.
I think the only hope for this game ever being released is if I limit myself even further, so what I'm planning to do is make the entire game in 20 events. Not 4 frames with 20 events per frame - as per the competition rules - but everything including the title screen, the game and extras such as game over and intro. I'll try to make it as polished as possible within these constraints.
I don't think it'll be done in time for the GB competition, and it would likely not stand a chance anyway, but I don't really want to abandon this one as I quite like it.
Well I think you should just abandon it personally because I don't think anyone has a fast enough computer around here, let alone the skills to play such a game.
