Okay. I have a genuine, legit version of Multimedia Fusion 2 Developer.

As I couldn't install the HWA installation file downloaded from Clickteam, I tried putting the files into the MMF DIR after extracting them fro mthe setup file myself.
I placed all files where they belong, but HWA still does not work.

What to do now, people?

Post your problem on the Clickteam HWA Beta forum where a member of clickteam staff should be able to assist you quickly.

But... why couldn't you install the HWA setup file? What was the error message?

When my dvd drive broke on my laptop and i wanted to install MMF2 on it, just copying the folder from my pc gave me the same error message. As far as i can tell it's just a part of the piracy protection thinking your install is illegal. Because you copied the files over yourself.

What was the problem with the installer?

i dont think thats exactly true andy. when i got it working under wine on linux all i did was copy the files over. when you get the "not installed properly" error or whatever, you forgot to copy over a mmf2 specific dll.
