I got gold but my highest level is only a 60 at the moment, transferred from Pearl... and he's currently residing in the day care center. Have both the special Pichus though
What do you think is best, the DSi or the DS Lite?
The DS Lite can run GBA games and that's a big plus since you can transfer pokemon from the pevious games and also play all the games on one console instead of shifting around all the time. But I think DSi got bigger screens and it runs better? It also got alot of random stuff like taking pictures and stuff, why do Nintendo do this all the time? Just keep it to the games -.-.
If I recall theres a big difference with the buttons on the DSi/Lite one is like a clicky sort of button while the other is smoother.
DS Lite also doesn't support DSiWare, which the DSi does. It's not just "pictures and stuff", though I don't know if there's anything available worth buying the DSi for. It also doesn't really run better, as far as I know. O_o I don't know how it could.
I think I would get a DS Lite to tell the truth, but I have a small collection of GBA games. And I have yet to try the buttons on the DSi, so I can't go one way or the other on that.
The DSi buttons are similar to those on the Game Boy Advance SP or the original DS, while the buttons on the DS Lite are similar to those on the Wii Remote or Gamecube controller. DSi has the same hardware as the DS Lite/DS except for increased memory, in that instead of 4 mb like the ds (which required a memory expansion pak of 10 mb to run the DS browser card) the DSi has this built in.
None of my in-person friends will play with me yet because my pokemon are level 68. I've spent 76 hours so far playing. Have all 16 badges, and am currently working towards catching the legendaries before I go train to fight Red. I've got Ho-oh, Lugia, Moltres, Zapdos, Mewtwo, Suicine, and the level 1 Dialga.

I dislike Palkia, and prefer Dialga to Giratina. You only get to choose one, so I chose Dialga. I thought that the Sinjoh Ruins were cool, but the animation for Arceus' Genesis was ridiculous, what with the barrage of arbitrary photographs and the weird circles. I already have all three in Platinum anyway.
