I doubt it; the only reason I said shut up is because I was standing up for the admins. Naturally for me it's the first word that comes to mind when I see someone quarreling with an admin. It's not like they don't have enough to put up with already. And I can't see how saying shut up counts as impressing the authorites at all.
Might want to work on making that not the first thing that comes to mind! Your concern for our well-being is noted and appreciated, but please limit upshut requests to the most dire of times. We are the iron-fistediest of admins in all of the internetz, after all, and we can tell people to shut up quite well enough without help! (sarcasm disclaimer)
Concerning to just the daily credits issue. There are some fine details that need to be discussed concerning this last time I remembered, there are a couple of reasons why it has not been turned on in the first place. So yes club can just flip a switch but there is a reason other then his computer issues this has not happened yet. Since myself and club are all over the place we have not touched base on msn about this yet but I am sure we will. Expect a couple of cool game related updates in the next couple of days. Until then group hug eh?

Regarding the points/credits system; perhaps credits should only be given for your best position within each game, so that a single person dominating one game will only receive points for their best position, rather than points for all their positions? Also, it seems to me that once you become good at a game, as in good enough to be 1st, it is really easy to inflate your points by intentionally beating your own 1st place by just a few points, and then doing that ad infinitum. Perhaps points should only be given for achieving a place if you didn't already hold it? Or maybe just reduce the number of points given if the position you beat was your own position..?
I don't want to sound like a broken record, and I think Arcade is great as it is, but I just want to highlight the importance of creating an environment which enables a steady flow of games to the site to keep things fresh.
Personally, I would love to see a situation where 50% of all content submitted to TDC would end up in the Arcade (yes, I know that vast majority disagrees with that). And 100% of that would be either Flash or Java, 0% Vitalize.
Then, when the quantity and quality is right, some search engine optimization, perhaps even investing some donation funds to search engine marketing (at least I would be interested in investing a certain sum for this type of activity, maybe CT as well with some "arrangements"?) in order to increase the visitor volumes considerably. Make it a casual gaming portal, with 95% of all gaming activity coming from people who have never even heard about "clicking", but also a site which simultaneously acts as a "show window" and distribution channel for clickers to get their games to the world easily through TDC's "submit game" feature - all in automatic fashion (of course consisting of quality assurance and moderation process before content goes live). Something what Clickteam's Madword tried to be but failed at.
Oh well, maybe I'm thinking too big here. But I do see a lot of new kind of potential there. This community is too much just developer focused, producing games for other developers to play. Look at yoyogames.com - that's already a little bit better "symbiosis" of developers and gamers, and that shows in the volumes of content consumption. This in turn incentives developers to make more stuff, which again leads to higher repeat visits, more active community, and so on. It's a snowball effect.
