Also, I love The Spirit Engine's battle engine. It got me hooked for a long while, but I'm not sure if most people enjoy it. Disclaimer: Any sarcasm in my posts will not be mentioned as that would ruin the purpose. It is assumed that the reader is intelligent enough to tell the difference between what is sarcasm and what is not.

Even if I can't make the 'perfect' battle system, I could just make different games with different battle systems. Edit: In case anyone is wondering, I got it down to 3 buttons now. I'm going to use something similar to the 'menu wheel' from Secret of Mana. Also, you can only do melee attacks if you are unarmed or have the handgun equipped. Edited by tetsuya_shino n/a
