Hey guys,
Was just wondering if anyone knows of or has achieved a good wall jumping system within/for Nifflas' custom platform widget. Maybe some uses this or knows about it and can tell me how a good way to achieve this myself?
What I'm after is just pure infinite wall jumping, preferably no wall sliding.
Thanks

Can you be a bit more specific? What do you mean not wall sliding? Is it like a particular game? If so, can you show us it in a video or something?
Do you mean 3DMario-like wall jump, Super metroid-like wall jump or knytt-like wall jump?
Awesomeness is Watermelon.

I've never used Nifflas' platform engine widget so I wouldn't know what to do.

Yeah, what Jon said. I want it to just kick off the wall when falling normally. This would be similar to Super Metroid's wall jumping.
P.S. I have always used the platform movement object before in the past, but decided to try and use an already built engine because it takes way to long to create an engine from scratch.

lol make your own engine from scratch. It's fun, plus then you can constantly improve and re-use it in yopur later games.

Well if you really really dont want to make an engine i could send you the one ive been using. But i would recommend making one yourself. Because if something goes wrong then you would know more about how to fix it.
