Can Jaffa Cakes be counted? For me I suppose the best would be digestive biscuits (if coated with chocolate then it's a bonus) with a cup of tea (but it must have at least 2 sugars)
Im sure somewhere I heard the recipe for digestive biscuits has been kept a secret.
I will permit Jaffa Cakes into this debate as did discuss fig rolls, anything like that is allowed. Do you dunk your Jaffa Cakes? I tried it once or twice, it can be quite disastrous running around after a tea spoon shouting "It gone in my brew!, nooo its sinking!". Nice and rich tea biscuits are the worst dunking offenders I have come across. Just air vapour is enough to collapse a rich tea biscuit
I too also like 2 sugars, sometimes 3.
I would also like to nominate Tunnocks Tea Cakes, Snowballs and Caramel wafer bars.
These are the answers people need to know, especially in the current enconomic climate!
Lol. I tend to find Rich Tea are the safest option for dunking as they're so hard Have dunked Jaffa Cakes once or twice but it's pointless as they go like sponges, and as you say, it's a risk only a mad man would take
Another thing I love to do... bite the ends of penguin bars and suck the tea through them. Messy but really nice
Green Tea? I hope you have a bare minnimum of 5 sugars with it, you need to counteract the healthyness! I do have a stock of green tea, jasmine tea and Pu Erh Tea although nothing beats a good sugary cup of PG Tips.
OMC: Egads my good Sir, how can one live without jaffacakes to teacakes ! What is the world coming too
I'm sitting here in the international foods aisle. They have Jaffa cakes and what appears to be chocolate-covered butter biscuits. I'll have to try some of this sometime.
