Hi there! I'm working on the movement for my character, and I'm doing just fine except on one point.
I'm using a modified version of MacAdams platform engine, and when using the default speed the character looks alright,
but when I change it to my desired speed the character becomes "blurry" when walking.
I use DirectX display mode, 320x240 resolution, 60 fps. Any idea what might be the cause of this?

What type of screen do you have? Is it an LCD? Older laptop?

it's an asus flat screen, lcd. Interestingly enough, I found that the blurring only occurs when the character is in the same "screen". That is, when you move beyond the current screen and the scrolling event starts, the blurring disappears.

That makes no sense at all . . .
What FPS is the game set to? What is your monitors refresh rate? Are you using any other graphical options (ie full screen, v sync, etc.)

As i mentioned earlier, fps is set to 60. The monitors refresh rate is 60 Hz, full screen is on, v sync too.
