I think we could call such a list a "Reading List". I like the idea, somewhat like putting together a library of articles you find interesting or helpful. Maybe have different shelves for different categories.
The articles section is like a crazy giant wasteland junkyard. There's a lot of stuff, but it's really hard to find exactly what you're looking for. Except that's kind of a bad example because a lot of junkyards nowadays are at least somewhat organized, and their file search works.

A long time ago in a TDC not so far away, I think I remember there being suggested on several occasions a central resource of hand-picked articles. Someone called it a FAQ, someone else a Tutorial section, and a few just called it categorization.
I made one of those a long time ago, but it didn't really get as much attention to be worth updating all the time, so I forgot about it
