Has anyone had any experience running MMF games on Linux (through WINE or Java).

I'm just wondering how the performance is, and the limitations.

What about giving it a try yourself? Should take about 10 minutes.

I don't have a Linux installation available or another hard drive to put it on.

I also have minimal Linux experience, unfortunately.

If you want your game to be playable on Linux, it would be a good idea to get a linux box going so you can bugtest.

It's certainly possible. I can't recall if Bibin had Hatman on Linux or Mac, but I know people have done it before.

Put Ubuntu on a USB stick!

Yeah I definitely need to get one setup.

I've got slax on a USB drive, perhaps I'll test that. It actually seems like Flash might be a good choice as well, since adobe flash player can run standalone SWF files under linux. I originally couldn't find anything demonstrating this, but I found a video a minute ago.

Thanks

I've had a better experience with Flash than Java, so yea. Try that too.
