A word to those with ears to hear...

Don't EVER code a game that you want to make into a flash app where you use the right-click of a mouse button for anything.

My current game engine must be completely rebuilt because I overlooked this elementary feature of flash apps.

Chalk it up as a learning experience, I reckon...

Whoa...That would be a huge help! Hopefully the extension will come out soon.

I was crushed by this realization when I tested it out. And it's such a simple thing I overlooked!!! The game is working out so well...But like I said: lesson learned.

When I think about how you can't right click on flash applets, a vein pops on my forehead and I say:

Don't hold your breath for that one though, it's highly unofficial and can thereby not be counted on for working in all browsers. Also it uses javascript on the webpage which embeds the swf, which won't be allowed on any Flash portal - which most often is the goal platform.
And it's very doubtful Adobe will ever change how Flash works with that.

I've since changed the control system to work-around the software compatibility issues; the two-button control scheme was poo-poo'd throughout initial testing.

Still, removing the menus from flash apps would be super cool, pipe dream or otherwise.
