These things, they can bring you more power, they help you use heavy machinery and they make life more easy for you... But they pollute.
Modern transformation helped us to get rid of the need to tie horses to a carriage and ride on mules. These animal may thank us for they can rest, though I tend to see less of them when the world keeps it's development... Cars now days also pollute as well, gasoline may sometimes cost allot.
Some speak about ideal technology that is cheap to produce and never pollute, but then our bosses and leader would be left with no position since everyone will have everything, and I want more of the cake.
On the last day on DC I plan to be very mean and swear allot.

Yeah, I'm on board with you, NastyMan. On TDC's last day, I wouldn't do anything different from my usual, either.

Coal can be a lot more efficient than people realise, increasing surface area of the burn (i.e. the coal itself) and the use of flash boilers can make it quite efficient. Some more useless knowledge for the (un)lucky tdc population!
I wonder where NastyMan is, no posts for a couple of days...

Coal all the way! The only alternative fuel that really has my interest is Algae, this stuff eats CO2.

Thorium FTW! 6 kg of Thorium can generate the same amount of energy as 300 kg of enriched uranium or 230 train cars of coal, 83% of the waste can be reprocessed in 10 years and the remaining 17% have to be stored for 300 years, versus thousands of years for conventional nuclear waste.
- Ok, you must admit that was the most creative cussing this site have ever seen -

I do not know what the energy problem is. We can all live in darkness and get hypothermia.
