Both movies are awesome. I really like them both a lot but goonies is better I say.
Goonies is funnier and goofy - boy i always wanted to have that belt - while stand by me is more serious and kinda sad / more emotional than your fun kids flick. Seriously they both rule.

I didn't even know what he was singing until I saw him on tv recently. I probably know nothing about music at all because I couldn't see what was supposed to be skilled about him. All I saw was that he is heavily overrated but that's about it.
The movie sucks. It's one of those "cult" movies that everyone says is really cool, but then if you actually watch it, it's total crap. It certainly can't compare with "Labyrinth" or "Never Ending Story". Didn't even know there was a game.
Justin Bieber's music isn't *that* bad, for what it is (teenie pop) - it's better than the shite that boy bands like Westlife spew out. He is however massively overrated, and a complete knob - I mean, he thinks he's better than Tom Brady. I find it hilarious that people are trying to make him out to be some kind of a bad boy.

"I WAS SAVED BY MY PINCHERS OF POW" and "HUNDWEDS AND HUNDWEDS OF FIFTY DOLLA BEELS" are pretty amazing lines.
Goonies is meant to be goofy as hell and it certainly pulls it off. I seriously doubt I could sit through more than 2 seconds of labrynth. . . and Never Ending Story . . . seriously?! I'm trying to constrain my laughter and disgust.

You're comparing it to fantasy films. Its not a fantasy film. The Goonies is equally as good as Labyrinth or the Never Ending Story, in terms of quality.
What's more, you go on to say Justin Bieber's music is good for what it is, after slating the Goonies Oh dear.
I've got a 3rd virepoint on the Goonies film - i liked it alot as a kid, but have seen it so many times now i'm bored of it and not even nostalgia makes me want to watch it on t.v. again. I guess that's because i thought it was so good once that i watched it so many times and i still appreciate how well-made it was.
