Hello,

I am Ben and I am planning on starting up a small Indie Company. My main plan is to make a game that would be released hopefully at the end of the Summer. So I am looking for people who can put quite a lot of work into it. To make my life easier (and a bit more confident) would it be possible to see a mini - CV? Just something to tell me what games you've worked on, experience etc;

I just want to get the core team at the moment. A programmer, Artist and if possible one of the two being able to help manage work. Also I hope it would be possible to have a weekly Skype Conference to just know what each member of the team has been doing and has done. This would help keep the team together, interested and involved!

The online company will hopefully release a payed game. Because of this I need people who want to put effort into the construction of it! Please don't apply if you aren't willing to put effort (and love <3) into it.

So really all I am saying is I need people who like making games and put a lot of time into doing so. I'm not going to say any more in the forums and would rather talk to you in a PM. PM me with what you can do and some evidence of it (the CV).

I would be writing the storyline of the game, advertising it and making the website for the game and our company. As well as this I want to help someone manage the work so I can be a bit more involved with the games development.

Bonus points if the programmer can code in a range of languages outside MMF2. An aim of the Indie Company would be to move onto the Unreal Engine to start work on a game using that after some work in MMF2. That is why I want people who would be dedicated to the team.

Thanks,
Ben

I applaud your desire to venture into game design, but it would greatly help if you learned the process a bit yourself. Get involved in learning some programing or image manipulation software like Photoshop. If you are really brave then look into 3d modeling and animation. (Which is very rewarding!)

I believe your intentions are sincere but to most people it seems like you want someone else to make YOUR game. When starting any type of video game you must invest time in creating a design document otherwise it will fail. Just my friendly advice to you Ben and good luck!
