Hey guys, it's been a while... A few months ago i got a job as a web developer, so almost all my attention has gone into PHP, or other web lanuages. Before I got the job I was religiously 'kliking' with MMF2Dev every day.

I just read Strife's (by the way good choice of mod, hope he/you keep/s up the enthusiasm) post and linked to Circy's interview (nicely answered questions by the way) and now I have some epic enthusiasm to start Kliking again! Not sure why I'm posting this really, and especially in the klik coding help forum, but that's the only forum I ever really post in..
I think I just need some idea's/motivation, as i'm a little scared to start something as it was a while since I was kliking, I believe the last thing I was working on was level editor stuff... I could be wrong though.

So what's hapend lately.. anything I should know about??

As far as noteworthy events are concerned, there isn't anything essential you would need to know, methinks, but you might be interested in the fact that Clickteam is working on an iPhone extension that's currently in beta. Beta testers have already published several klik games in the iPhone's app store. If you're willing to dive a little bit into some coding, it's also possible to use the Flash exporter to put your klik games up on Facebook.

Anyway, if you want to get your bearings again, I'd say take things at your own pace - or, if you're really ambitious, see what kind of small game you can create within a month's timespan. I made an 8-bit platformer in a month, and it was a pretty neat experience that allowed me to build something quick and enjoyable. So many MMF developers these days focus a ton of time and energy on large-scale projects, so I think it's refreshing when I see simpler games that were made in a fortnight or two.

In any case, your options are totally open. Happy kliking!

Thanks Alonso = I tend to make tutorials and engines more than games because, well... I don't know I just enjoy making solid engines and helping others understand what I have had to learn. But after I have made an engine, rather than making it usefull in a game, I just go onto making a engine for somthing else.

@Strife, wow sounds like Clickteam are starting to branch out a bit = I deffinatly like the idea of doing a small scale project, as you say it's all too easy as a kliker to get lost in massive projects! I think I will start a small project and KEEP it small, thanks for the posts guys =
