Goddamn, have you these things? I dunno if it's an exclusively British thing but looking at the shelves in WH Smiths you might see the outlandish headlines and garish colours of a ladies mag staring back at you. Magazines like Women's Own, Pick Me Up, Take a Break, Google these and you'll see it's a subject ripe for parody, and since I love parodies and Photoshop I knocked up a few of my own (a couple from a couple of years ago and a couple from recently).
And, as a bonus, one for a Smash Hits style teen pop mag:

I thought they're amusing. Well done. We've got a few of stuff like that here in Malaysia too. One of them pretends to be a religious magazine (criticizing all the evil young local teens who go on webcam, including blurred photographic evidence, of course).
