Back in the year 1998, my friend James McHugh lent me a cd, THE BEST 40 GAMES EVER. All of them were terrible and this was one of them. OJ 3-D Driving! The CD got scratched or lost and was never seen again but after hours of searching last night, I finally tracked it down on this website:
Drive the white bronco in this freeware Windows game. Can you make it off the LA Highway? OJ-3D Driving has been released early and the later version will include the OJ Simpson 3-D DOOM ][ patch. REQUIRES Windows 3.x, VGA, and 4MB RAM. Highly Recommend: SVGA, Sound card, 6 to 8MB RAM
If I recall correctly, the game is simply a modified version of one of the example games that came with the original Klik and Play. As with all Klik and Play games, the code is open source. It is really interesting to check out. Especially the boss fight. The police car object is even named Pig haha. There are 5 different weapon upgrades throughout this one level game, however none of them make any difference. Not even in the boss fight. And
Also, check out the help file haha:
Q: The game runs very slow, but I have 4MB of RAM, whats wrong?
A: This game uses a lot of sounds and animation, when the music loads into memory the game can slow down and even freeze. The first thing you should try is freeing up as much base memory as possible, the best way to do this is removing any drivers you don't need to play the game(don't bother with creating a boot disk). You can also disable the music or sound.
To even open the original setup.exe, I had to open it in VirtualBox running Windows 95. To make it easier for you, I've uploaded the setup files, plus the installed files. You may need to install cncs32.dll I'm not sure.
