Hi there! I'm having music being played in my game on channel 32. However, when I have sound effects that aren't played on a particular channel, they interrupt the music by lowering it's volume just a little bit.
However, if I set the sound effects to a particular channel, they interrupt each other.
What to do?

Only one sound can play on any particular channel at one time, so if you have a 1 second sound effect (A) and a 3 second sound effect (B) that play on channel 1 and A plays 2 seconds into B, B gets interrupted and A plays. You ought to divide sound effects up into different types that won't conflict so often (for example, ambient sounds on a separate channel from action sounds) and play them on different channels.

Yes I understand that, but will a sound that is not on a specific channel disrupt a sound that IS on a specific channel?
