I have had a couple of times where I build an installer using mmf2 developer and it it installs up to 20% or 38% then it just freezes
I had better luck when I used Instal creator but now I am getting the same issue with that also anyone know what to do?

Firstly, check your program files folders and delete any mmf2,tgf2, or mmf2 dev folders there. Next, try restarting your computer in case a process is messing with your install somehow. If you are installing from a disc, the installer may be corrupted (scratched cd). If that's the case, you can get an installer from the clickteam website, but you will still need your registration code.

If all of that fails, you may want to scan your computer, just to check all possible complications.

If you put a million monkeys at a million keyboards, one of them will eventually write a Java program.
The rest of them will write Perl programs.

I'd also double-check to make sure you are logged-in to your machine as Administrator. Installs hang sometimes when using a Guest or other user account that doesn't normally have all the Administrator permissions.

It is not mmf2 that freezes it builds the installer fine. Its the installer that freezes in the middle of installing my application. I am fairly sure the issue is not with MMF@ or install creator pro. Because even install applications that have installed properly in the past are not working now. I think it has something to do with my computer. I had some guy online who logged onto my computer using teamviewer who I think screwed something up. The question is what?. He was playing around withe permissions of the folders. But the installers do manage to create folders and install a few files befor they freeze. I unfortunately forgot my administrator password to my computer

Dude, I reckon you better find your Administrator password, then box the ears of that guy who was messing around with your system settings.

There is a Linux live disk you can download that will let you remove your window password.
Google for it.

Burn the iso to a disk and boot the computer from it and remove the password.
