I have a couple questions about the OpenGL extension for MMF2:

1) Can I render height maps like if I used the Mode 7 EX extension?

2) Can games using the OpenGL extension be exported to the different languages and platforms of MMF2, like to the Anaconda runtime or Java?

Thank you in advance!

1) Not sure.

2) No.

There is a new 3D object coming out that will be compatible with other platforms though. It's the Irrlicht 3D Objcet.
So far only windows runtime, iOS and Android are planned.

Don't hold your breath though.

Do you know any more information about this extension?

Yes but I'm not sure what I'm allowed to say about it.
