Blackgaze Possibly Insane Registered 01/11/2002 Points 3161	26th May, 2003 at 10:42:57 - i have solved the dmc first problem but here is an important problem i have about DMC. 1. i have got DMC to work and everything is fine but when you search for the MP3 in a certain place would that affect the music is the game was on another computer in a different directory. 2. With the DMC would there be a way how you can store the MP3 on the game so it would run off from the game than an directory. 3. If an MP3 was stored on a game or needed with the game would it takes lots of room if the MP3 size was between 4-9 Megabyte? Please help me! Formerly known as "Spiderhead". That music only plays if there's a file there. Put the mp3 in the game directory, and use appdrive$+appdir$+"whatever.mp3" to link to it. 2. Not that I'm aware of. If you have MMF 1.5 you can try building the whole game as a single file, but that can be buggy. 3. It would take about 4-9 Megabytes...? gone fishin'

Just create a folder in your games folder, put the MP3's in there and heres three easy steps 1. start of level - init bass 2. stream open "./tunes/tune1.mp3 3. Stream play "1" (1 = loop 0 = play once) 4. End of level and end of game - terminate bass. Guranteed to work n/a

Hagartech when u said "./tunes/tune1.mp3" does that mean whatever drive (drive C, D,E example) and if some some rename the folder would that stop the music playing? Formerly known as "Spiderhead".
