The Daily Click needs to be on Facebook.
I am so disappointed in the level of participation here. I was a full fledged adult when Klik & Play came out. Silky's was a thriving community with never ending content, reviews and heck, even drama. I still see a few people from those days here, but it's rare that they contribute anything by way of games, or reviews.
When I last released a game here, I was shocked that a game that I spent over a year on (2 years now), was barely noticed. Looking at other people's posts and downloads, I'm not seeing a whole lot there either.
I think it's because it's not part of people's daily routines to check web sites anymore. As much as I hate the constant stream of bull that you can be exposed to on Facebook, at least it keeps you in the loop with your friends and interests. I am guilty myself. I only check the Clickteam and Daily Click forums when I need something. Then, I might see someone else's post, or upload.
I really miss the interaction and inspiration that existed in the early days. I believe the interest is still there. It's just that we need to have a more streamlined flow of information, and Facebook is the tool of the moment.

http://www.facebook.com/dailyclick
It should be renamed to be more easily found, but it's there.

Shouldn't they advertise the Facebook page on this site?

They did a while ago. I think there might even be a twitter too.
I've been following them for as long as it's been around, but it hasn't been updated in forever.

I actually forgot about the FB page. But I don't have access to this particular page anyway at the moment
In terms of interaction, I kind of agree, it's been deathly quiet. I admit to being a small part of this but I have been extremely busy with work and my new job and simply haven't had as much time as I'd like. I'd imagine the other admins reasons are similar.
I became an admin at 19. Over ten years later I'm still doing it. Much has changed in ten years.

And maybe it's time to change the admins here?

Chris,
First, thanks for being an admin. Second, it's not anyone's fault that it's quiet. It's just that we don't often go out of our way for information anymore. It's kind of sad, but that's just the way it is. We only check in when we need help, or want to promote something.
Is there a group on Facebook? That would allow for quick and easy interaction. We would be notified if people had a question about a click product, the release of a new program, or anything else. I'm not sure if all groups are private, but I suggest that if there is a group, we keep it private to keep out bots and spammers.
I miss the old days. Even twelve year olds would release games, and people would download them, and make comments. More often than not, the comments were honest and helpful.
This is a great hobby, based on an innovative product, with a substantial history. Let's keep it alive.

There is a sort of community on Facebook, but it's mainly for older community members who remember the days of the Click Cafe and The Wall, etc. http://www.facebook.com/?sk=h_chr#!/groups/349814071729102/ I'm not sure if that link will work as I think it's a private group.
Clickteam itself is also on Facebook and they often use their page to post news. http://www.facebook.com/clickteam They cross-post to Twitter too: http://twitter.com/Clickteam
