Hope someone can help...
What I basically want to do:
Create a shortcut to various programs(on my pc) in the MMF frame with the icon extracted from the .exe or .dll (just like you would have on your Windows desktop)
I was tempted in using IconView, which extracts the icon file nicely, but there were other quirks preventing me from using IconView.
I can create shortcuts on my windows desktop from mmf2 using the File-Folder object, but I want the actual shortcut in the frame.
Is this possible?

Yes I've done this before, but I did it with MMF 1.5 a long time ago. I don't remember how I pulled it off.
Let me know if you figure something out!

Mentioning MMF 1.5, I went and took a look at what I could find. I do not have MMF 1.5, but I believe there use to be a shortcut object that could do just that.
I have been searching high and low for this extension, hoping that I could somehow make it work in MMF2.
Unfortunately MMF 1.5 is dead on the Internet. Thought I could check out fusionwiki.com, but that seems to be dead too.
So I have given Iconview a brief thought again - one of the problems I have, I can not seem to move an icon when dragging or just by pressing a key to move it to a location.
I started simple:
icon 0 is selected and on pressing "1" on keyboard > move icon number 0 to x200, y200
no movement at all - I made sure that it was icon 0 and I can delete it when selected, edit label and more, but not move.
I will keep on looking for something though.
