i say no edit post
i say less things on front page (but at least one a day)
Yeah! member awards!... no wait
Please chat room? or at least someone elses that is official???
I agree with alebrain with everything, besides the chatroom. There should be a link to #k&p or somewhere using jirc or something, though.
And JJ, the admins are already working hard enough to put the submissions up there. Give em some slack.
Eric, how bout making such a game yourself. I attempted once, but I suck at multiplayer coding. You could end up being legendary should you succeed...

edit posts could muck up the system, e.g. if someone comments or replies to a post, and that post is changed, some things can get confusing.
Chatroom is a good idea.
And a sprite/graphics section would be fun.
Editing posts could just get confusing. If you want to edit something just after you've posted it, post it again and sooner or later someone will delete the first one.
Like Muz said, you can just use #k&p or V-Chat or whatever for chat.
Member awards? There's a Rating...
Previews don't offer much except screenshots. They get there if they're good.
Then submit more submissions.
You can use the forum for showing off sprites and stuff.
The people here have real lives too. I have exams all next week, and am doing my best :|
Strange Culture made a DC boxing game. I think. Check around.
You could put a time limit for editing posts, and you could have it say ( Post edited on x/x/xx ) or have a link to the original post. That way it wouldn't get confusing.
There should be an edit post feature. But every time you edit, it'll say 'Post edited' or something at the bottom. It saves us from making embarrassing mistakes that could start flame wars and all. I've been correcting myself with 2nd, 3rd posts too often.
Personally, I also wish there was a constantly updated FAQ section or at least a massive DC help file or something. It'll be like a compilation of the good articles and a list of questions that have been answered over the Code-It forums.
And IMHO, I don't mind the forum categories. At least there aren't too many of em.
