Hi. I was using the NewGrounds vrsion, but someone told me it wasn't supported anymore so its illegal to use it. I don't wantto break the law,so I wantto getThe Games Factory 2. My mom says if I save for half, (I already havemy $30) she'll pay the rest. Is TGF2 good enough, or should I get MMF2? I just want to mke games for my friends. Can TGF make droid apps or do I need tosave up for the flash installer? Thanks! ps. I'm 13.

Android exporter is not available for TGF2, but if you just want to create pc games for your friends, I see no reason for TGF2 not to be good enough. Keep in mind that the Android exporter is fairly expensive ($80).

If you put a million monkeys at a million keyboards, one of them will eventually write a Java program.
The rest of them will write Perl programs.

No, you need to buy it separately for about $80.

I'm pretty sure you're not breaking any law by using the NewGrounds version.

Also, bear in mind that Clickteam offer discounts when upgrading from one product to another (you'll have to email them directly to find out how much of a discount). I believe you could buy TGF2 now, and then if you decide to upgrade later, it won't cost you much (any?) more than if you just bought MMF2 to begin with.

So its like, $200 to b able to mke droid games.

with MMF2, if I make a game in TGF2, then I can still loadit into MMF2 without having to make a lot ofchanges? Do I have to doanything special for a droid game orcan I just export it wth the MMF2 exporter?

You can do it for free if you learn Java

Both Games Factory 2 and Multimedia Fusion 2 use the same type of project files so you can open a game you made in The Games Factory 2 in Multimedia Fusion 2 without having to worry, and you can open a game you have made in Multimedia Fusion 2 with The Games Factory 2 as long as it uses the same extensions you were using in Multimedia Fusion 2... There is not much of a problem here!
