Is the Xbox 360 gamepad pretty popular for playing PC games? I'm thinking about testing with one of those. I know there's built-in gamepad support from the file menu of the application, but is there a more professional way of implementing gamepad support? Or anything I should be aware of?
Once installed, the 360 gamepad should operate just like any other 19-button controller.
I use a 19-button controller myself, but it's a Nyco Airflow. I also have a driver for my original Xbox controllers installed, but alas; I do not have a 360 and I have no idea how many people use them things on their computers.
MMF2 does have built-in joystick support, but I've never used it. I've always preferred the Joypad Object because it says it supports up to 32 buttons, six-axis', and hat buttons. I have no idea what the built-in joystick support actually supports.
