Pretty straight-forward, in a top-down perspective game, a character with a ground-pound / butt-slam type move creates a circular shock-wave effect when impacting the floor. What is the best way to do this? I considered the lens object but you can't have animations with the lens object (I believe).

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Honestly, I haven't watched the whole thing, so I don't know if it works for you, but he does create a shockwave effect, so give it a look
