When in the event editor (at the top where it says 'all the objects all the events), the special conditions icon isn't showing (the one with the gears). I have all the others, like sound, storyboard controls, timer, create new object etc. Where has it gone and how can I get it back?

Did you move it from it's original spot?
Check around!
Also check which theme you're using. Maybe it has a different icon that you aren't used to.
I'm assuming you're using CF 2.5

Yes I'm using Fusion 2.5. I couldn't find it so I have started from scratch (definitely the gear/cogs icon). Thanks anyway.

Try holding the Shift Key as you restart 2.5. This will reset all the icons and etc.
