I'm having issues with entry of high scores on the high score table. Here's what's happening.
Application starts and it's maximized at full-screen.
Player plays the game.
Either at the end of the game or when all lives are lost, it looks as though the game locks up.
In reality, the window to enter a name into the high score table has appeared. It's just that the window is behind the main game window.
To work-around it, the player needs to Alt-Tab or something to switch around the windows on their Desktop to eventually bring up the high-score window, enter their name, and press OK or ENTER.
At that point the game continues as per normal. The name is entered into the High Score Table and play resumes as intended.
This only seems to occur now that I've selected to have the display be maximized/fullscreen at startup. If I play at the normal resolution (640x480) this issue doesn't occur. However, if the player manually maximizes the game display then it WILL occur.
Any thoughts on this? Ideally I'd like to allow the player to switch resolutions and so on, but if this is an issue only solvable with the work-around, then I'd do without it.
Thanks!

I have never messed with the high score table. But i'm not surprised to hear it has issues. It's been around for such a long time, odds are clickteam needs to update it.
Personally, if i was to make a game with high scores. I would create my own with an array and a fastloop. That way things like adding achievements bused off a scoring system. Would be easier to add in.

The Window Control extension might allow you to drop the game window position behind the name entry dialog.
